Thelma Abbe
Senior Associate, CFO & Accounting Services | CPE Course Contributor
Hi! I’m Thelma. I am a Senior Associate in CFO & Accounting Services with hands-on experience supporting high-quality financial reporting, accounting operations, and advisory services for a diverse client base. My work focuses on accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery, drawing directly from real-world accounting practice to support practical professional learning.
At JS Morlu, I play a key role in preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing tax filings for both Ghanaian and U.S. clients. This exposure to cross-border reporting and compliance requirements informs my approach to training, where emphasis is placed on precision, documentation, and practical application—core elements of effective continuing professional education.

In addition to technical execution, Thelma actively supervises and supports junior associates, contributing to team development, workflow efficiency, and quality control across engagements. She brings a structured, detail-oriented approach to accounting processes and consistently applies professional judgment in meeting client and regulatory expectations.
Her technical proficiency includes extensive use of Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Sage 50, DraftWorks, and Drake, enabling her to support a wide range of accounting and tax-related workflows. Through her work, she emphasizes best practices in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance—skills that translate directly into practical, practitioner-focused CPE instruction.
Thelma began her professional journey at JS Morlu as an intern (National Service Scheme personnel) and has progressed into a trusted Senior Associate within the firm’s CFO & Accounting Services team.
